introduction
Based in South Wales and the West Country, there are three Bar 44 outlets in Penarth, Cardiff, and Clifton Village. The focus at Bar 44 is on impeccably sourced ingredients served simply with a modern touch and a whole load of passion from the team. Menus give equal billing to food and drink and use both the best local produce as well as showcasing outstanding produce from Spain.

Bristol
Situated in an old bank on Regent Street, Clifton village, the building has been lovingly and inspirationally refurbished bringing a fun and sophisticated restaurant space. There are some stunning works of art from Spanish artist Andi Rivas, which reference Spain and the evolution of Bar 44. Two underground old bank vaults have also been transformed into private dining rooms for groups of up to 12 to hire for a private occasion.

Cardiff
The largest of all the Bar 44’s can be found in the shadow of the Principality Stadium on Westgate Street. A former canal warehouse, the Bar is split up into four separate subterranean rooms with arched brick ceilings which serve to enhance the buzzing atmosphere which is central to all great tapas bars. Bar 44 Cardiff is the only venue in the UK which pours three different sherries from full sized barrels behind the bar.
