Check-in is any time after 3pm – 10pm (3 – 6pm on a Sunday). Guests will be required to present photo ID on arrival. If you arrive early for check in, you are welcome to take advantage of our guest lounge and terrace to enjoy a drink, or perhaps enjoy lunch in Asador 44 or Bar 44 just a stone's throw away around the corner. We can of course look after your luggage for you.

Check-out is before 11 AM. If you require a later check-out, please contact us before 8 am on the day of departure, and we will do our best to accommodate. Early and late check-ins are not guaranteed. Charge for early or late check out is £40.

All hotel room reservations have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Any changes and cancellations must be made 48-hours prior to 3:00 pm on the scheduled day of arrival. Cancellations received within the 48-hr period will be marked as a no show and will incur one night’s room and tax charge to the credit card on file. Any room purchases on an advance booking rate will not receive a refund.

Parador 44 is not suitable for pets.

We are a 100% non-smoking hotel, this includes the roof terrace. Smoking is prohibited at all times. If smoking has taken place, a fine of £250 will be applied.

Guests must be 18 years or older to check in without a parent or legal guardian. A valid photo ID must be presented at the time of check in for age verification. Children are welcome but we don’t provide cots, pull out beds and there are no inter-connecting rooms.

The hotel is set on the first and second floor of the building and there are no lifts/elevators to access these floors. Some rooms are over different levels with steps and have low head clearance. Please note when booking that the hotel is therefore not suitable for wheelchair users.

The terrace is for Parador guest use only, it opens at 7 am and closes at midnight. Please note that smoking is not permitted on the terrace.
The lounge operates an honesty book for any items taken. Nespresso coffee, Canton loose teas and home-made sherried Welsh cakes are complimentary for all guests. Spanish fine wines, spirits, bubbles, beers, a selection of soft drinks and delicious Spanish and locally sourced snacks for grazing are available all at an additional charge.

Is served in Asador 44 between 8am and 10am each day. Should you wish to invite external guests to join you for breakfast, please advise the team.

There are several NCP car parks in close proximity, one of them is opposite the hotel. Parador does not have a preferential rate with the NCP, however, if you personally download the NCP app before arrival with your correct vehicle details, you may be able to access a discounted rate.

We cannot take responsibility for items left at our property upon departure, however every care will be taken to ensure that these are returned to you as soon as we can. Please note there may be a charge for recorded delivery.

The building was built in the 1700's and sits in the city centre, we've done everything we can to soundproof the rooms, however there may be some street noise from outside. If you're a light sleeper we provide sleep kits in every room.

We're a 5 minute walk from Cardiff central train station and bus station, if you require a taxi we recommend Premier Taxi - 02920 555555.
